“Ikhono to heed governments call for all sectors of society to help fight the challenge of youth unemployment this youth month”
June 2019, Durban – Ikhono Foundation, a non-profit generating organisation with a focus on women and youth has identified the issue of youth unemployment as a serious cause for concern especially where graduates and out-of-school youth are concerned.
It is through this scourge that the foundation has realised that one of the ways in which awareness and the employment opportunities that exist can be communicated to our communities is to mobilise the private sector, corporates and youth focused entities within the public sector to collaborate on a programme that specifically address youth unemployment.
It is through such collaborative efforts that the youth seminar will take shape to allow all partners identified to present on their programmes, graduate & job seeker interventions and entrepreneurial and mentorship opportunities that exist within their organisations.
The seminar is open to all young people free of charge; and corporates who wish to join the bandwagon to be solution drivers to aid alleviate unemployment. The seminar is scheduled as follows:
Date: 27 June 2019
