Background

Ikhono was Established in 2000 by its founding members Zodwa Msimang & Don Mkhwanazi. Now 100% owned by Zodwa Msimang. A compliment of 9 permanent staff members and various consultants depending on the nature of a projects.

Ikhono is owned by Zodwa Msimang. We are an accredited Professional conference and event organiser through the South African Association for the conference industry (SAACI).

We are members of the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRISA), Black Management Forum (BMF), South African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI) and the Business Women Association (BWA).

Zodwa holds a BA in Communications, a Higher Diploma in Education through the University of Zululand and a Public Relations Certificate (Damelin). She has previously worked for a management consultancy, specialising in topical issues, lobbying, management of change, marketing and public relations for eight years before establishing Ikhono.
