Season’s Greetings! And just like that we conclude 2019. It’s been an exciting year, challenging as we embarked on a rebranding and expansion journey, we are confident about the future of Ikhono Thrive Global.
Irish Playwright; George Bernard Shaw argues that: “Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.” – it is against this background that we launched our new divisions Ikhono ICE (Incentives, Conferences, Events & Exhibitions), Ikhono DMC (Destination Management Company), LOM Event Solutions( Infrastructure & AV), Ikhono Suite ( Hospitality properties) & Ikhono Exclusive Furniture Hire. Central to what defines who we are and what we stand for as Ikhono Thrive Global, is the ethos of Ubuntu.
Through our Foundation we have successfully reached out to hundreds of young people in the Province of KwaZulu-Natal through our Youth Seminar held in June. The outcomes will now enable us to rope in other social partners, and offer programs that will assist towards job creation.
The foundation’s focus is on uplifting communities in the rural areas. This year we managed to offer training in financial literacy and personal mastery to a group based in KwaNyuswa. In celebration of International Day of Rural Women in King Cetshwayo District we hosted a seminar focusing on Agribusiness & Rural Tourism among other topics.
We are grateful to God the Almighty for guiding us towards achieving our goals and to the clients and other stakeholders for trusting us to partner in implementing their projects/ programs.
Proverbs 18:10
The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.
Wishing you a peaceful and safe festive season
